Alison Davis

Ms. Alison Davis is managing partner of Fifth Era. She is an experienced corporate executive, public company board director, an active investor in growth companies and a best-selling author on the topics of technology and innovation. Ms. Davis is currently the Chairman of BlockChain Coinvestors. a non-executive director of Kraken, Pacaso, Linqto and Silicon Valley Bank and until recently, served for nine years on the board of the Royal Bank of Scotland, now NatWest. She is the also the Chairman of Renaissance Entrepreneurship and of the Advisory Board for Blockchain Capital. Ms. Davis was previously the managing partner of Belvedere Capital. Prior to this, she was the Chief Financial Officer of Barclays Global Investors (now BlackRock), a strategy consultant with McKinsey & Company and A.T. Kearney. Ms. Davis has degrees from Cambridge University (MA/BA) and Stanford (MBA). She was born in Sheffield, England, and has lived for the last 25 years in the San Francisco Bay Area where she raised her family with her husband, Matthew C. Le Merle.
