Saturday, April 19, 2025, 6.15pm to 9.00pm CDT
Join Cantab Chicago as we experience an exclusive Chicago preview of this program before the Chicago Symphony Orchestra appears at the Mahler Festival in Amsterdam as one of only five international orchestras on the lineup. Jaap van Zweden conducts Mahler’s Seventh Symphony, a shadowy, paranormal journey through the mysterious night and into the dawn of a new day.
We will gather at 6:15pm in the Grainger Ballroom for pre-symphony drinks. Please buy your own tickets; if you would like to sit with other Cantab alumni, please buy tickets in the Terrace Center section, left (odd numbers from 101 to 133). If you need help buying tickets please contact us.
We will also go for drinks nearby after the concert.
If you have any questions, please reach out to the Cantab Chicago group at cantabchicago@gmail.com.
