The Oxford and Cambridge Alumni Society of San Diego warmly invites new students starting a course at Cambridge this autumn for informal drinks in San Diego before the start of term. This is a great opportunity to prepare for university and make new friends before you arrive.
You can expect to meet alumni, recent graduates, and current students, from whom you can get tips and advice for living and studying at Cambridge. Students and alumni of the University of Oxford will also be in attendance.
There will also be a question and answer session. Drinks and conversations will take place on the patio outside Il Fornaio Resturant at 4.30pm, with the option to stay for dinner in the resturant at 6pm.
Refreshments: can be purchased at the venue
Guests: you're welcome to bring a guest(s) (e.g. parent(s), guardian or friend)
Dress code: there is no dress code; please wear whatever you feel comfortable in

On arrival: Look for a Cambridge University flag at a table on the outdoor patio, just outside the Il Fornaio restaurant

Directions: The restaurant is located in a small mall on the northeast corner of the main road through Del Mar at 15th street. Parking is available in a paid lot about 30 yards past the traffic light at 15th street going north
