Niko graduated from Stanford (MS in Management Science and Engineering as a Fulbright Scholar), the University of Cambridge (M.Phil. in Manufacturing Engineering and Management), and the National Technical University of Athens (Dipl.-Ing in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science).
As Managing Director at General Catalyst, he has been instrumental in identifying and nurturing groundbreaking startups. Niko began his career as an investor seeking out very early-stage consumer products and services that many might perceive as crazy, funny, or even controversial.
He has been involved with General Catalyst companies such as Audius, Brighter (acquired by Cigna), ClassDojo, Collective, Cover, Discord, Dubsmash (acquired by Reddit), Hive, Livongo (acquired by Teladoc, NYSE: TDOC), Remote, Sleeper, Snap (NYSE: SNAP), and Wag! (NASDAQ: PET), among others.
