Big shoutout to two amazing Americans from Cambridge University rowing in the 2024 Olympic Games!
Olivia Coffey (Homerton 2017) was born in 1989 in Elmira, NY. She first competed at rowing at Phillips Academy in 2005 and then joined the rowing team at Harvard University. She was on the winning Cambridge team when they won The Boat Race in 2018 and represented the United States at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Dara Alizadeh (Hughes Hall 2017) was born in 1993 in Brookline, MA and grew up in Bermuda. He began rowing at Belmont Hill School and continued at the University of Pennsylvania. He was on the winning Cambridge team when they won The Boat Race in 2018 and 2019 and represented Bermuda at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
