The Master of St Edmund’s, Catherine Arnold OBE, warmly invites you to an informal drinks event on Friday, September 9th at the Harvard Club of New York City. Catherine is the deputy chair of the University Alumni Advisory Board and the first woman to serve as Chair of The Fitzwilliam Museum Syndicate.
Catherine’s diplomatic career saw her serve in Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, and Oman and most recently as Ambassador to Mongolia. Before becoming Master of St Edmund’s College in 2019, she led the UK campaign to secure the nomination to host the COP26 climate conference. Prior to joining the FCDO, Catherine was a journalist and travel writer in the Middle East. Her career started with leading global management consulting firm, Oliver Wyman. Catherine is currently chair of Cambridge Global Health Partners and of the Board of Syndics of the Fitzwilliam Museum. She was awarded an OBE for services to British foreign policy in the 2019 New Year Honors.
