Sylvia Plath was a talented literary writer from Boston, Massachusetts. She was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to study English at Newnham College. Plath’s best-known poems include “Daddy,” “Lesbos,” “Lady Lazarus,” and “Getting There.” She published a novel, The Bell Jar in 1962. She was passionate about releasing work that was true to her life. She died by suicide in 1963 at the age of 30. but Plath was awarded the Pulitzer Prize in poetry in 1982 for The Collected Poems.
