Yuri Kim is a diplomat serving as the United States Ambassador to Albania. She is the first Korean American woman to represent the US as an ambassador and the first from Guam. Kim earned her Master of Philosophy in political theory from Cambridge in 1994, after which she returned to the United States to begin her career in foreign service with the State Department.
