Yuri Kim is a U.S. diplomat, currently serving as Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasian Affairs. She was the United States Ambassador to Albania 2020 - 2023. She is the first Korean American woman to represent the US as an ambassador and the first from Guam. Kim earned her Master of Philosophy in political theory from Cambridge in 1994, after which she returned to the United States to begin her career in foreign service with the State Department.
