Catherine Arnold OBE, Master of St Edmund’s College, will be in conversation with Dr Michael Pippenger, Notre Dame International’s Vice President and Associate Provost for Internationalization, to discuss the role educational institutions play in shaping global leaders and thinkers in a highly fragmented world.
Before becoming Master of St Edmund’s College in 2019, Catherine’s diplomatic career saw her serve in Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, and Oman, and most recently as Ambassador to Mongolia. She led the UK campaign to secure the nomination to host COP26 and was awarded an OBE for services to British foreign policy in the 2019 New Year Honours.
The evening will bring together friends and alumni to celebrate the signing of a MOU between St Edmund’s College and the University of Notre Dame, and will be hosted by Notre Dame International, St Edmund's College, and Von Hügel Institute for Critical Catholic Inquiry.
Deadline for registration is September 9th. We look forward to seeing you!
