If you've ever wanted to ride a Polo pony and take part in a Polo match, now is your chance. The President of the Polo Club has graciously offered to give lessons on riding a Polo pony, as well as playing Polo, and will provide her own horses for a small fee ($75.00), and officiate the match. The match will be played in arena style which makes it a shorter field, with 3 Polo ponies making up each team.
In addition to the Polo ponies, the club will provide saddles, helmets and mallets. Bring your own boots (or strong heeled shoes), gloves, and optional safety glasses. If you've ever ridden a horse then you can do this. It's a beginner's match.
Spectators are welcome to join at no charge. Please join us to ride or just watch. Bring the children and enjoy an afternoon in the country with a complimentary glass of chilled Chardonnay. If you have any questions, contact Brian Beeston at bepbeeston@gmail.com.
